A direct replacement for the Simrad R3000X remote controller, the Helmsman CT is a non-followup remote steering controller designed for the commercial troll fishery. The CT behaves as a traditional “jog” lever, but with some distinct benefits.

The Helmsman CT connects directly to the Simrad automatic pilot processor’s “jog input” port and enables the operator to dodge, make 1-degree course adjustments, 5-degree course adjustments, and to execute autopilot mode changes. The CT can be mounted out in the weather and features waterproof switches, a stout graphite-polyester housing, and a waterproof LED mode indicator.
